Kali has 4 large Gongs ~2 Paiste Symphonic Gongs a 24" + 30", a large 36" Wu Han, and a 18" Wind Gong ,a smaller Thai gong and Balinese gong, not to mention her Tibetan singing bowls, Happy Drum and Gasong Drums ( which are all of the gong family) + a complete set of crystal singing bowls and Tibetan bells and chakra chimes and amazing tubular bells. A Gong Bath can be likened to a very deep & lasting massage. The Gongs tune the physical body & soul to it's greatest possible resonance. Usually you are laying down on your back in savasana position, receiving the sound energy of the gong as it is being played moving through the nervous system opening, clearing & recharging the whole mind, body and spirit. The resonance triggers a meditative contemplation state where you have the opportunity to relinquish control of that busy ego~mind and move into the state Budhists call The Big Mind. Negativity and chaos are suspended, irregularity and resistance are cleared, & the whole being is reset to a state of synchrony and alignment.
